Cici Eberle started playing guitar in junior high school, then abandoned public performance for 38 years.  Why did she return to the stage?  A few factors:  gender transition, job lay offs, and listening to Dar Williams recordings from a library.

Barry met Cici at a fundraiser for separation of church and state in Cambridge, Massachusetts several years ago. The event featured all transgender performers and hosted by co-creator of the "Transparent" show on HBO Faith Solloway.  She has a full length CD and a new EP called "Anaconda Meltdown",

Cici and Barry talk about why there is so much hate in the US directed at the LGBTQ community, "political music" and why it shouldn't require a personal connection to support justice for everyone.

Hal Ginsberg is the organizer for "Our Revolution- Maryland" one of the numerous state chapters of "Our Revolution" that grew out of the Bernie Sanders for President campaign in 2016.  The motto of the group:  "Campaigns End.  Revolutions Endure" and it has detailed policy proposals on issues ranging from race discrimination to immigration.

A particularly important part of their work in this election cycle is promoting Medicare For All.  It is impossible to discuss transforming the miserable healthcare system most Americans deal with today without looking at the enormous wealth disparity in the US today and how sexism infects our culture.

Hal Ginsberg was previously a talk show host and owned a radio station in Monterey, California.
