Barry was a fan of Bianca De Leon  www.biancamusic.com  long before he met her but had assumed she had overdosed and died because of the many references to drugs in her early songs.  Bianca showed up to play a show at 1 am in a hotel 5 years ago and dispossessed him of that idea.  She tells stories from her forthcoming book Wild Ride about hitchhiking with Charles Manson, getting a priest at a gas station to help her finish a song, and hanging out with drug cartel kingpins. There is music from a number of her five CDs, too.

Among the songs  is "I Sang Patsy Cline", a tune written when Bianca had to spend the night in Panama City when the airport was closed as the US was taking out dictator  Manuel Noreiga.  She sang Patsy Cline songs as bullets flew by  trapped in a highrise. See video of her singing this song.  Renowned songwriter Guy Clark called her "a voice for Texas that does it right".

Don Tucker was legislative counsel for Michigan Senator Philip A. Hart  See Wikipedia when Barry came to Washington in 1974.  He and Barry often worked on progressive causes together before Don moved to MIchigan to establish his own law firm and later, consulting business.

They reunite to reflect on the caliber of Republicans then and now, the impeachment of Nixon and possibly Trump, big changes in the Washington media and have a disagreement about how to "fix" the Supreme Court.
