Dennis Baxter has earned a list of credits that can fill a volume. He was born and raised in the Inland Empire and matriculated San Bernardino Valley College with a broadcasting major.
After college, he hosted morning shows on KRNO, KBON, and KPRO where he entertained local audiences for several years.
Baxter left the Inland Empire when Tribune Broadcasting Corporation offered him the News Director and anchor position at KCTC FM and KGNR AM in Sacramento,
Over a ten year period, Dennis Baxter garnered numerous awards from Associated Press and United Press International, including Best Newscasts, Best Documentary, Best Public Affairs Program in the State of California.
